A Handful of 72 Cody Scout in Natural Stag

September 3rd, 2016

Howdy Folks, I just got done posting some Natural Stag 72’s to my website; http://oldhundredcollectibles.com  Because of my recent health issues, I cut my order way back to just a handful of these. Taking pictures is very difficult for me right now. But, by the Luck of the Draw, all the knives I received are very nice knives. I didn’t get any super popcorn, but I did get very well matched knives. Nice dark, even coloring. A good representation of just some nice Sambar Stag! Take a look, see if there is one you like.

Open for Business!

August 28th, 2016

Here at Old Hundred Collectibles.com we are still Open For Business! As many of you may, or may not know, I have been very seriously ill. I have neglected this Blog, and to some extent, my business. Believe me this was not by choice! However, there has been some improvement in my condition and I hope I have turned a corner in my recovery. Still, at the very best, recovery will be a very long process. But, in the meantime, I am hoping to be able to get back to business. I am fully stocked on all the #14 Boy’s Knives, two blade, regular release  knives. I am listing the #72 Cody Scout Lockbacks as they arrive from Titusville. I just got done listing the Northfield 72 in African Blackwood, what a Beauty! So please take a look and see what you like! We’re Still Open For Business!

Well Folks, the two blade Rotten Banana Bone knives are in. They look Great! The folks at GEC did a fine job on these.I know that some of you have been wondering about my lack of Blog Posts the last 2 or 3 weeks. I haven’t been answering emails either. I’m sorry for this. I have been experiencing a VERY difficult time with an ongoing Medical situation. Hopefully I have turned a corner on this but time will tell. Those of you with confirmed reservations on the Rotten Banana Bone will be receiving the Invoice in the next couple of days. I will process and ship these knives as fast as I am able. Please be patient. If you must communicate please do so by email, please don’t call. The knives are Sold Out by Reservation,  so if you didn’t get a confirmed reservation, my apologies. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Some more #14’s

July 7th, 2016

I had some more #14 Boy’s Knives come in this afternoon. I got a couple in Gabon Ebony, 5 in Antique Yellow Jigged Bone and I got part of my order of the OD Green Linen Micarta. Sorry, no more Rotten Banana. I’ll have some OD Green coming and then that will finish up the Single Blades. I’m guessing the Double Blade knives as still a week or two as GEC still has several SFO’s to finish up.

Rotten Banana Bone

July 6th, 2016

The #14 Lick Creek Boy’s Knives in Rotten Banana Bone are in, Invoices sent out, and most have been paid. I’m in the process of Shipping the knives now. I have seen some concern over the color of the handle scales on an Online Forum, I don’t know if this concern is from actual customers or just general gab.I can say the pictures of the knives on the GEC Website are a good representation of the finished product. They are what they are. I have also had a few requests to “pick me out a nice Rotten one”. I can not and will not Cherry Pick knives. This run, and all knives I sell, are picked at random and shipped. If I pick out a “nice” one for you, to whom should I ship the “bad” one? If I pick out a “nice” one for somebody else, would you want the “bad” one? Not going to happen!

Reservations Policy

June 28th, 2016

As I have said before, I am Discontinuing my Reservations Policy at Old Hundred Collectibles. Current Confirmed Reservations on upcoming releases will be honored in as much as received sales stock allows. No New Reservations on any knives will be accepted. There are a number of different reasons for this change and I will not go into them here.

The #14 Boy’s Knives are now in production. It appears the Regular Run Tidioute Boy’s Knife from GEC will be first to be released. After that there are a number of SFO’s for various Dealers. It looks like my own run of 14’s in Rotten Banana Bone will be one the early releases. If you have a Confirmed Reservation, you will receive an Invoice. I purposely “short sold” on the Reservations for these knives so as to have some to list on the Website. All available knives will be listed as they become available. I’m not scheduling an upload time, I’m not emailing individuals with a head’s up, you’ll just have to check the site. Between the GEC Website and my own Blog, people should have a pretty good idea when knives are released.
